Four weeks into the new year and I haven’t made a mistake when writing out the year. Of course, now that I have made that claim I will be making errors left, right and center.

I sure do love going away. Be it a vacation or a conference. I like staying a in a hotel. I adore having someone else make my bed, give me fresh towels, and clean the bath. It feels good to be pampered every once in a while. Unfortunately, I get a rude awakening when I return home. I am the one who must take care of the house. Happy New Year! I am writing this before Monday. It is presently 6 PM on Saturday. James and I are getting ready to leave for Las Vegas. We have a super early flight and for the first time we are all prepared at a reasonable hour. Yippee for us!

The cold is gone! Yippee! It began on the weekend and really hit me by Monday. I must have got it while I was in Las Vegas or travelling back from Las Vegas. I didn’t get the sleep I should have while I was there (big surprise LOL) and I also was not good about drinking enough water and taking my vitamins.
